Documentation- The H & P’s are documented on a form that is tailor made for the facility, to be easily read by anesthesia, and conforms to other forms being used at the facility. The forms are faxed to the facility the day of the examination.
 
Testing- All testing is done at the time and place of the examination, including EKG’s, spirometry, and blood draws, so the patient does not have to make any additional stops anywhere else. All testing is reviewed by the medical director and initialed.
 
Protocols- All lab testing and EKG protocols are developed together with anesthesia, so that all are in agreement as to which patients need what testing.
