Evaluations- The actual histories and physicals are performed 95% of the time by nurse practitioners or physicians assistants, supervised by a Comprehensive medical director assigned to the particular facility. The allied health personnel are consistent, as is the medical director.
 
Physician Satisfaction- Because of the above mentioned goals of efficiency, consistency and quality, physician satisfaction should be enhanced. In additon, since pre-op physicals done by the surgeon are generally not in and of themselves reimbursable beyond the global surgery fees, surgeons can free up time and personnel for other revenue generating work in the office.
 
Liability- Comprehensive maintains professional liability insurance for all of its nurse practitioners. Its medical directors maintain full personal liability insurance as well.
